«Recorded at Den Road, Mooral Creek in the Birpai (Biripi) Nation, Mid North Coast NSW, Australia in December 2010, very close to the earliest sunrise of the year.
The piece is made of two recordings (one about 20 min beginning at 5:02 AM, AEDT 4:02 AEST, the other about 10 min beginning a bit later at 6:16 AM AEDT, 5:16 AEST).
